AJ Simmons

Known for her fierce determination and brazenly AJ Simmons (she/they) is an interdisciplinary Flamenco artist, with a passion for storytelling and a foundation in classical theatre and dance.

AJ raises her hands to the mentors and guides who have stewarded her Flamenco journey: Oscar Nieto, Kasandra Lea, Peter Mole and Ricardo Rubio.

AJ strives to use Flamenco as a tool to invite intergenerational audiences to engage with land and body reclamation, invoking a dynamic and participatory Flamenco Experience.
